Welcome to Seaside Quilters Guild
We are an active guild with approximately 75 members. Our monthly meetings are held on the FIRST TUESDAY (Sept. through June) gathering time starts at 5:30 p.m. The meeting begins at 6:00. Starting September 2, 2025 we are meeting in a new location, All Souls’ Episcopal Church at 1475 Catalina Boulevard, (Point Loma) 92107. We will be meeting in another location for the December 2o25 and January 2026 meetings, Pacific Beach Presbyterian Church, 1675 Garnet Street, San Diego 92109. Beginning with our February 2026 meeting, we will return to All Souls’ Episcopal Church in Point Loma and be meeting through June 2026. Hope you will join us.
The Guild was founded in September of 1982 to promote co-operation and exchange of ideas among those interested or engaged in quilting and fiber arts. The founding members’ love and enthusiasm for quilting grew into a community where all can share this common love, have fun and learn. Our members range from beginners to the very skilled.
The activities of the Guild have grown to include, guest speakers and workshops, Quilt Retreats, Block of the Month, UFO Club, Quilt ‘til you Wilt, Finish it Friday, Opportunity of the Month, Project Linus for children in hospitals, tours of textile art exhibitions in Southern California, skill building, making new quilting friends, great potlucks AND of course the inspirational sharing of Quilting projects.
