Workshop: March 6, 2024 “Log Cabin Heart Quilt/Scrappy Pumpkin Table Runner”

Award-winning quilter, craft and sewing book author, and inventor of quilting notions, Carolina Moore brings her creative flair when she designs quilt patterns. Each pattern is written and fully illustrated to support different learning modalities. Many of the tools used in her patterns have detailed instruction videos on her popular YouTube Channel. Raised with traditional quilting techniques and traditional quilting patterns, Carolina loves adding modern colors, fabrics, and design in her patterns. Carolina is an Art Gallery Fabrics Sewcialite, Baby Lock Influencer, and has been blogging for over a decade at Always Expect Moore. She lives in San Diego with her husband, their two boys, dog, and cat. She has two sewing machines, a Baby Lock Jubilant named Saturday and a Baby Lock Aria named Sunday – which is how she gets away with saying “I only sew on Saturday and Sunday.”

Learn how to use the Curvy Log Cabin Trim Tool to create scrappy curved log cabin blocks while making either a Log Cabin Heart Quilt or the Scrappy Pumpkin Table Runner. Most students will be able to complete one of these projects in class. Quilting plans, bindings, and hanging sleeve options will also be demonstrated.
