March 3, 2026 We are lucky to have one of our favorite speakers returning, Jean Impey. She will present one of her favorite programs, Creativity! Has Someone Stolen Yours? This lecture is packed with motivation and confidence-building tools—along with the latest quilting technologies to help make your work faster and more successful. Whether you’re a traditional quilter or curious about art quilting, you’ll come away inspired and ready to try new things. You’ll want to take notes—you’ll be surprised how much you learn! And if you’ve ever said, “I can’t draw,” I’ll help you move past that with confidence and freedom.
March 7, 2026 Jean will be conducting her famed Magic Fabulous Faces – Freddy Style workshop for six fun hours. This workshop grew out of her collaboration with the legendary Freddy Moran. Using glue sticks and fabric collage, students will create up to three playful portrait blocks. She will demonstrate her two signature quilting techniques: “pencil quilting” and “sketchy quilting,” which give these faces their finished charm. No sewing is required during class—it’s all about the design and composition. Great for all skill levels! Workshop is 9:45 – 3:00 at Rosie’s Calico Cupbard.
